Hi, I’m Fareena, the photographer behind Wonderfully Made Photos. I’m based in Ottawa’s west end and specialize in family, maternity, and newborn photography, capturing moments just as they unfold, naturally and beautifully.
My approach is calm, guided, and true to life, so your images feel genuine and timeless rather than overly posed or styled. Whether it’s the quiet tenderness of newborn days or the joyful chaos of family life, my goal is to create photographs that feel warm, meaningful, and deeply personal to you.
Photography, to me, is about holding onto the moments that pass far too quickly. The tiny details, the in-between laughter, the way your child fits perfectly in your arms right now. These are the memories that become more precious with time, and they deserve to be remembered just as they are.
As a mother myself, I understand how quickly each stage comes and goes. One day you’re rocking a newborn in the quiet hours of the morning, and before you know it, you’re chasing little feet through the house. I can’t slow time down, but I can help you preserve what it feels like to be in it.
When you book a session with me, you don’t need to worry about knowing how to pose or having everything be perfect. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but I also leave space for your family to simply be themselves. The real smiles, the cuddles, the playful chaos, the soft in-between moments. That’s where the magic lives.
My sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and designed to feel comfortable for both parents and little ones. Whether we’re outdoors, in your home, or in studio, my goal is for you to walk away feeling at ease, cared for, and excited to see your story come to life in photographs.
